Biography
Born and raised on the tallgrass prairie of Eastern Kansas, I grew up on a farm and ranch located in the Flint Hills. I spent most of my childhood fishing largemouth bass on private farm ponds when I wasn't helping with crops and cattle. Current largest fish was a 48" Blacktip Shark caught off the coast of Myrtle Beach on a bachelor party in 2024. Previous largest fish would've been a +/-60lb Flathead Catfish on a limb line from the Cottonwood River in Eastern Kansas as a young teen in the late 90s.
I completed my Masters in Landscape Architecture at Kansas State University then worked professionally in Kansas before moving to Denver in 2016. My first ten years in Denver were spent working with land development in Colorado, predominantly facilitating the entitlements portion of the process working with land owners, design and engineering consultants, and jurisdictional staff to efficiently develop parcels ranging from a single lot infill through master plan sites exceeding 2,000 acres. I decided to pause my land development career the end of 2025 to give two of my businesses my full effort getting off the ground.

- Bowline Home Solutions, LLC (preventative home maintenance and property management on a reoccurring annual plan)
- Bowline Land Consulting, LLC (land development and entitlement consulting for residential, commercial, and industrial development)
Growing up in the country outside of a small town with less than 1,800 people, I learned the value of community at a young age. My research in college, career path, and the LLCs I started all stem from community. Being a member of Boon Fly has provided an opportunity to complete a childhood dream learning how to fly fish while also introducing me to an incredible community of anglers. I want to help reinforce the existing Boon community as well as helping it grow and evolve into the future.
